Iced Lavender Lemonade Tea
Cold-brewed lavender tea meets fresh lemonade for a floral, refreshing summer drink with a gorgeous purple tint.
Lavender and lemon are one of those magical flavor pairings where each ingredient makes the other taste better. The citrus brightens lavender's floral notes, while the lavender rounds out lemon's sharp acidity.
Cold-brewing the lavender tea overnight extracts its gentle sweetness and perfume without any bitterness. The result is a smooth, aromatic base that mixes beautifully with fresh lemonade.
The color alone is worth making this drink—a soft, hazy purple-pink that looks stunning in a clear glass pitcher. Add a few fresh lavender sprigs and lemon wheels for a presentation that stops guests in their tracks.
Make a big batch for summer gatherings. It keeps well in the fridge for up to two days and actually improves as the flavors meld. Serve over plenty of ice with a sprig of fresh mint for extra freshness.
