A group of people who love tea, and love sharing it
FindMeTea started with a simple wish: that finding a good cup of tea, anywhere in the world, should be easy and kind. We are a small group of tea drinkers, writers and curious people who decided to gather everything we know about tea in one place and make it free for everyone.
What we are building
We are bringing together the world's tea knowledge: the teas themselves, how each one is brewed, where they come from, what they taste like, the recipes and drinks people make with them, and the shops where you can actually buy them near you. It is a long road, and we walk it one page at a time, in English and Spanish, with the same care in both.
How we work
Everything you read here is written and checked by people who care about getting it right. When we quote a fact, it comes from a source we can show. When we list a shop, we read its catalogue and its prices ourselves, and we go back to check them. When we do not know something, we say so rather than fill the gap with a nice-sounding number. Our editorial policy is public, and we hold ourselves to it.
Why we do it
Because tea is one of the oldest ways humans have of slowing down and being together. A cup shared is a conversation started. We want more of that in the world: more calm, more curiosity, more kindness. If FindMeTea helps you discover a tea you love, find a tea house that becomes your place, or brew a better cup for someone you care about, then it is doing its job.
