Editorial policy
Everything published on FindMeTea — the blog, the tea library, the moment pages — is written by the FindMeTea Editorial Team under the rules on this page. They are enforced before anything goes live.
Facts come from sources, not from vibes
Brewing parameters (temperature, time, amount) always come from our own hand-maintained catalog, and where honest practice is a range we publish the range, never a fake-precise number. Any factual or statistical claim beyond the catalog must be backed by a primary source or by at least two reliable independent ones before publication; if we cannot verify it, we soften it or drop it. We keep an internal source log for published claims.
No health claims
We do not claim effects on your body — not for digestion, sleep, stress, immunity or anything else, and hedging ("may help") does not make such a claim acceptable. We write about traditional use, flavor, caffeine, preparation and ritual. When research is worth mentioning, we cite the source in the same paragraph and attribute the finding to it. Nothing on this site is medical advice.
Honest traditions
Each tea is described the way it is actually drunk. Mate, for example, has no steep time and no grams-per-cup — so we never invent one to fill a table. If a value does not exist in real practice, it does not exist on FindMeTea.
Two languages, one standard
English and Spanish are written as equals: same facts, same numbers, same care. A piece is published in both languages or not at all.
How we work
We use our own editorial tooling, including AI assistance, with these rules enforced by automated checks before publication and human oversight of the system. When we find an error we correct the page and keep the correction.
