Peach Green Tea Spritz
Cold-brewed peach green tea, prosecco, and a splash of soda over ice — a light, low-ABV spritz built for warm afternoons, with an easy non-alcoholic version.
Peach green tea's fruity, lightly grassy profile makes it a natural partner for the bright acidity of prosecco — together they build a spritz that tastes like a more interesting, tea-infused version of a classic peach Bellini.
Using a strong cold brew as the tea component is important: it concentrates the peach and green tea flavor enough to stand up to the bubbles and alcohol without becoming watery, while staying smooth and low in bitterness.
A splash of soda water at the end keeps the drink light and effervescent rather than heavy, and a few thin peach slices floated on top reinforce the fruit aroma with every sip. Build it directly in the glass over ice for the easiest version.
For a non-alcoholic mocktail, simply swap the prosecco for extra cold-brewed peach green tea or a sparkling white grape juice, keeping the same proportions of tea, soda, and peach garnish — the result is just as fragrant and refreshing, with all of the ritual and none of the alcohol.
Ingredients
- 90 ml strong cold-brewed peach green tea
- 90 ml prosecco (or sparkling white grape juice for a mocktail)
- 30 ml soda water
- 1 tsp honey or simple syrup (optional)
- 2–3 thin peach slices
- Fresh mint sprig
- Ice cubes
How to make it
- 1Cold-brew the peach green tea strong (double the usual leaf, steeped 8–12 hours in cold water) and chill thoroughly.
- 2Fill a wine glass with ice cubes.
- 3Pour in the cold-brewed tea, then top with prosecco (or sparkling grape juice for the mocktail version).
- 4Add a splash of soda water and stir gently once to combine.
- 5Sweeten with honey or simple syrup if desired, garnish with peach slices and a mint sprig, and serve immediately.
