Most tea shops sell you a pack; this one sits you down first. Half an hour with the tea master and three cups is how the Shanlinxi and the Dayuling get chosen here.

YuSong Tea, 禹松茶學, is the second generation of a family tea shop opened in 1976 in Gaoshu, Pingtung County. In 2025 Chuang Po-chun, a nationally certified tea assessor, took it over and renamed it, moving the tea-selection space to No. 30 Minyang Road in Daliao, a district in the south of Kaohsiung City. It opens every day from 11:00 to 19:00; the site describes the trip as the MRT Red Line to Daliao station and then bus Red 7 or about ten minutes by taxi.

The visit is the point. The shop offers a free tasting of two or three teas with the tea master, lasting thirty to sixty minutes, booked through the online form or by phone, and helps choose teas, custom gift boxes and corporate orders. Tea-art classes are announced for the second half of 2026. Everything also ships nationwide and overseas from the web store.

The shelf is short and all Taiwanese: around a dozen teas, sold in 150 g (four liang, as one pack or two of 75 g), 300 g and 600 g. High-mountain oolongs from Shanlinxi and its Longfengxia valley, Alishan Zhangshuhu, Cuifeng on Hehuanshan, Fushou Lishan and Dayuling Biluxi; a Mingjian Si Ji Chun as the everyday tea; and a wild black tea from Liugui, in Kaohsiung's own mountains, in a 100 g box. Tea bags of Lishan and Dayuling cover the office cup.
