Iced Citrus Sparkler with Echinacea and Rosehip

Cold-brewed echinacea, ginger, lemon and rosehip topped with fresh orange juice, lemon, honey and sparkling water: fizzy, citrusy and lightly sweet.

A cold-season blend doesn't have to taste like a sick day. This iced sparkler turns our immunity blend into something genuinely enjoyable: bubbly, citrusy, lightly sweet, and built for warm-weather sipping.

Cold-brewing is essential here. The immunity blend's ginger and echinacea can take on a sharp, medicinal edge when steeped hot, but cold extraction over 8 hours pulls a smoother, sweeter flavor profile that plays nicely with citrus.

Fresh-squeezed orange juice (not from concentrate) is the move—its sweetness rounds out the rosehip's tartness and the lemon's bite. Sparkling water adds the festive fizz that makes you want to drink the whole glass.

Make a pitcher in the morning and pour a glass whenever you want something cold and bright. It works as a quiet daily ritual for warm afternoons—a caffeine-free alternative to soda that tastes of ginger, orange and rosehip.

Ingredients

  • 3 tbsp immunity blend (or 4 tea bags)
  • 750 ml cold filtered water
  • Juice of 2 fresh oranges
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • 1 tbsp honey dissolved in 1 tbsp warm water
  • 500 ml sparkling water (cold)
  • Orange and lemon slices for garnish
  • Ice cubes

How to make it

  1. 1Cold-brew: place the immunity blend in cold water in a pitcher. Cover and refrigerate 8–12 hours.
  2. 2Strain through a fine sieve. Discard the herbs.
  3. 3Stir in fresh orange juice, lemon juice, and honey syrup until combined.
  4. 4Fill tall glasses with ice. Pour the citrus tea mixture two-thirds full.
  5. 5Top each glass with sparkling water. Stir gently and garnish with an orange round and a lemon wheel.
