Iced Tila Lemonade with Honey
Cold-brewed tila tea blended with fresh lemonade and honey—a floral, calming twist on the classic summer cooler.
Tila cold-brews into a beautifully mellow, honey-sweet base that's practically begging to become lemonade. The floral notes come through even cleaner when brewed cold, without any of the herbal heaviness you sometimes get with hot infusions.
Fresh lemon juice is non-negotiable here—bottled won't give you the brightness this drink needs. The tartness cuts through tila's sweetness and creates a perfect sour-sweet-floral balance that's dangerously drinkable.
Honey dissolves best in a quick simple syrup: equal parts honey and warm water, stirred until smooth. This ensures it blends evenly into the cold liquid instead of sinking to the bottom in a sticky lump.
Serve this over plenty of ice with a sprig of fresh mint or a few thin lemon wheels floating on top. It's the kind of drink that makes a Tuesday afternoon on the balcony feel like a vacation.
Ingredients
- 4 tila tea bags
- 3 cups cold water
- 1/3 cup fresh lemon juice (about 3 lemons)
- 3 tbsp honey

- 2Remove tea bags. Dissolve honey in warm water to make a syrup, then stir into the cold brew.
- 3Add fresh lemon juice and stir well. Taste and adjust honey or lemon as needed.
