Oriental Beauty Honey-Peach Highball
An elegant highball with Oriental Beauty-infused spirit, peach, and soda — with a sparkling non-alcoholic version that lets the honey oolong shine.
Oriental Beauty's honey-muscatel aroma makes it a natural partner for a light, fruit-forward highball. Infusing a clear spirit with the oolong for an hour gives it a fragrant, peachy backbone that needs little else to feel sophisticated.
A short infusion is key. One hour pulls the honeyed top notes from the tea; much longer and the oxidized leaf can turn the spirit drying and tannic, dulling the bright fruit you want to showcase.
Topped with soda and a squeeze of peach, the drink stays crisp and refreshing. A bar spoon of honey syrup rounds it out and nods to the tea's natural sweetness without making it cloying.
For a non-alcoholic version, brew a strong cup of Oriental Beauty, chill it, and build the highball with the cold tea, a splash of peach nectar, honey syrup, and sparkling water over ice. You get all the fragrance and fruit of the cocktail with none of the alcohol — a beautiful drink for any time of day.
Ingredients
- 45 ml vodka or white rum (omit for the alcohol-free version)
- 2 tbsp Oriental Beauty oolong leaves (for infusing or strong brewing)
- 30 ml peach nectar
- 10 ml honey syrup (1:1 honey and warm water)
- Soda water or sparkling water to top
- Peach slice and mint sprig for garnish
- Ice cubes
How to make it

- 2Fill a tall glass with ice. Add the infused spirit (or chilled strong tea), peach nectar, and honey syrup.
- 3Stir gently to combine.
- 4Top with soda or sparkling water.
- 5Garnish with a peach slice and a mint sprig, and serve.
