Iced Oriental Beauty with Peach and Mint

Cold-brewed Oriental Beauty over ice with muddled peach and fresh mint — a fragrant, naturally sweet iced oolong that needs almost no sugar.

Oriental Beauty was practically made to be iced. Its honey-and-muscatel sweetness comes through beautifully cold, and cold-brewing keeps the cup smooth and aromatic with almost no astringency.

Muddling in a little ripe peach turns the natural fruit notes of the tea up a notch. The peach and the oolong's muscatel character blend so seamlessly that newcomers often think the tea is flavored, when it is entirely natural.

Cold-brew overnight for the cleanest result. Slow extraction in cold water draws out the sweet, honeyed compounds while leaving harsh tannins behind, so you rarely need to add sweetener.

Serve in a tall glass over plenty of ice with fresh mint and a peach slice. It is one of the most refreshing and elegant iced teas you can make at home.
