Our favorite tea shops in Singapore
5 places we'd send a friend to, with prices we checked ourselves.
Singapore's tea shopping splits between two worlds. In Chinatown, two houses sell Chinese and Taiwanese leaf by the packet: Tea Chapter, a Neil Road teahouse open since 1989, and ETTE, a numbered collection on Kreta Ayer Road. Along Orchard Road and out at Changi, the mall boutiques of The 1872 Clipper Tea Co. and TWG Tea cover the gift-tin end, and FairPrice supermarkets carry the teabag brands and the one yerba mate we found on the island.
