DAVIDsTEA Masonville Place is at 1680 Richmond Street, unit U034A, inside the CF Masonville Place mall in the north of the city, and keeps the mall's hours: Monday to Friday from 10am to 9pm, Saturday from 10am to 8pm and Sunday from 10am to 5pm, with a direct phone line in the chain's store locator. Larger 250 g bags are sold as separate products, and mixing five 50 g pouches earns a discount; online orders over CA$ 75 ship free and the rest pay a flat rate.
What the store does well is the flavoured and organic side of the chain and the clock. For a single-estate black at half the price, the market stall downtown is the better address, and for a pot at a table the lounge on Piccadilly is the only one; but both close early or rest on weekdays, and neither is open at 8pm on a Thursday. The Nepal black is the one unflavoured leaf here that neither of them stocks.
