Iced Raspberry Lemon Balm Cooler

A refreshing, caffeine-free iced cooler made from the Pregnancy-Friendly Blend, fresh raspberries, and lemon — light, hydrating, and gentle.

This cooler turns the blend into a refreshing cold drink for warmer days, leaning into the raspberry leaf's natural light tartness and the lemon balm's soft citrus side. Muddled fresh raspberries add color and a little extra fruitiness without making the drink taste medicinal in any way.

Brewing double-strength before chilling is the key step — diluting with ice afterward means you need a slightly more concentrated tea to start so the flavor doesn't disappear once it's poured over ice.

This is an easy way to stay hydrated with something more interesting than plain water, especially during pregnancy when warm tea isn't always appealing. The mild ginger still comes through gently, lending a faint, pleasant warmth even in a cold glass.

Serve over plenty of ice with a few muddled raspberries and a lemon wheel — it looks and feels like a treat, but it's just the same gentle, caffeine-free blend in a refreshing form.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups water
  • 2 bags (or 2 tbsp loose) Pregnancy-Friendly Blend tea
  • 1/2 cup fresh raspberries, plus extra for garnish
  • 1 tbsp honey, or to taste
  • Juice of 1/2 lemon
  • Lemon wheel, for garnish
  • Ice cubes

How to make it

  1. 1Bring the water to a boil, remove from heat, add the tea, and steep for 8 minutes for a double-strength brew. Strain and let cool to room temperature.
  2. 2Lightly muddle the 1/2 cup raspberries in the bottom of a pitcher.
  3. 3Pour the brewed tea over the muddled raspberries, then stir in the honey and lemon juice until dissolved.
  4. 4Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or pour straight over a glass full of ice.
  5. 5Strain into glasses over fresh ice, and garnish with a lemon wheel and a few whole raspberries.
