Citrus Green Tea Immune-Boost Elixir
Citrus green tea steeped with fresh ginger, raw honey, and a dash of cayenne—a bright, warming elixir to kick-start your defenses.
This elixir starts with citrus green tea's natural vitamin-C-rich profile and dials it up with fresh ginger and a squeeze of lemon. The green tea's catechins combine with the citrus antioxidants for a genuine immune-supporting punch.
Fresh ginger brings heat and anti-inflammatory power. Grate it finely so it releases its oils directly into the hot tea—dried ginger powder won't give you the same zing or benefits.
A tiny dash of cayenne pepper is the secret weapon. It boosts circulation, clears the sinuses, and adds a barely-there warmth at the finish. If you're sensitive to spice, start with just a few grains.
Drink this warm first thing in the morning or when you feel the first scratch of a cold. The honey soothes the throat, the ginger warms the chest, and the citrus tea ties it all together with bright, clean flavor.
Ingredients
- 1 citrus green tea bag or 2 tsp loose leaf

- 1 tsp fresh ginger, finely grated
- 1 tbsp raw honey

- 1Brew citrus green tea in hot water (80°C) for 3 minutes. Remove tea bag or strain.
- 2Add grated ginger and stir. Let sit 2 minutes to infuse.
