Shou Mei Honey and Jujube Wind-Down Brew
A warming, honeyed Shou Mei infusion with red jujube dates and a touch of ginger—a gentle, low-caffeine cup for unwinding in the evening.
Shou Mei is a fuller-bodied white tea with a soft, honeyed sweetness that makes it perfect for a soothing evening brew. Its low caffeine means you can enjoy a comforting cup later in the day without disrupting your wind-down.
Adding red jujube dates deepens the tea's natural fruity sweetness with warm, caramel-like notes. A small slice of ginger lends gentle warmth, while a spoon of honey rounds everything into a smooth, calming drink.
Brew the Shou Mei gently—white tea rewards lower temperatures and patience. Slightly cooler water and an unhurried steep coax out the honeyed body without any harshness, keeping the cup soft and easy to sip.
Enjoy this brew after dinner or in the quiet hour before bed, when you want something warm and gently sweet rather than stimulating. It is an easygoing companion for relaxed, slow-paced evenings.
