Cold-brewing is essential here. The immunity blend's ginger and echinacea can take on a sharp, medicinal edge when steeped hot, but cold extraction over 8 hours pulls a smoother, sweeter flavor profile that plays nicely with citrus.
Fresh-squeezed orange juice (not from concentrate) is the move—the natural vitamin C from the orange, combined with rosehip in the blend, gives the drink a meaningful nutritional bump. Sparkling water adds the festive fizz that makes you want to drink the whole glass.
Make a pitcher in the morning and sip throughout the day during cold-and-flu season. It works as a quiet daily ritual—small consistent doses of immune-supporting herbs and vitamin C, delivered in a format that doesn't feel like a chore.
Ingredients
- 3 tbsp immunity blend (or 4 tea bags)
- 750 ml cold filtered water
- Juice of 2 fresh oranges
- Juice of 1 lemon
- 1 tbsp honey dissolved in 1 tbsp warm water
- 500 ml sparkling water (cold)
- Orange and lemon slices for garnish
- Ice cubes
How to make it
- 1Cold-brew: place the immunity blend in cold water in a pitcher. Cover and refrigerate 8–12 hours.
- 2Strain through a fine sieve. Discard the herbs.
- 3Stir in fresh orange juice, lemon juice, and honey syrup until combined.
- 4Fill tall glasses with ice. Pour the citrus tea mixture two-thirds full.
- 5Top each glass with sparkling water. Stir gently and garnish with an orange round and a lemon wheel.
