Bangkok's loose-leaf shops mostly sell tea grown in the north of Thailand: a two-floor shop off Sukhumvit 23 from a Chiang Mai tea company, the Bangkok tea room of an organic garden in Mae Taeng on Charoen Krung, and a tea house in the old riverside streets of Talat Noi that mixes Thai leaf with teas from China and Japan. Prices below are in Thai baht, read on each shop's own site; the northern shops sell from 15 g to 50 g, Chaidim mostly in 250 g packs.

Almost everything comes in 50 g bags: Lahu Green and Lahu Oolong at 210 baht, Earl Grey and jasmine green at 230, a Lahu Yellow at 300, Lahu Black at 310 for a 50 g tin and Dhara White at 480.

The loose teas mostly come in 250 g packs: Bai Mu Dan at 1,300 baht, Tie Guan Yin at 3,650, Uji matcha at 2,450, plus a Four Seasons oolong at 900 for 100 g and a 2016 ripe pu-erh at 900 for 100 g.
