Two central London tea shops, both in Westminster and both selling online as well. On the Strand, opposite the Royal Courts of Justice, Twinings has traded since 1706 and runs a sampling bar and two-hour masterclasses at its flagship; in Mayfair, just off New Bond Street, Postcard Teas buys from farms of under 15 acres and names the maker on every tea. Prices are in pounds, from a 125 g box of everyday Earl Grey to 10 g of dated West Lake Long Jing.

    The Twinings shop at 216 Strand, opposite the Royal Courts of Justice, has sold tea on this site since the early 1700s: a sampling bar pours a daily selection of loose teas, and a downstairs tasting room hosts two-hour masterclasses. The loose-leaf range covers all six tea families, from London Strand Earl Grey to a Huo Shan Huang Ya yellow tea and a limited 2026 first-flush Darjeeling.

    A small Mayfair shop just off New Bond Street that sources from farms of under 15 acres and prints the maker's name and place on every tea, blends included. Most teas come as a refill pouch or in a postcard tin, from a 50 g English Breakfast to 10 g of dated West Lake Long Jing, and there are one-hour tastings on Thursday evenings and Saturday mornings.
