Our favorite tea shops in Leeds
3 places we'd send a friend to.
Leeds buys its tea in two places: the shopping streets between Briggate and Commercial Street, where Bird & Blend keeps its wall of 100 blends and Whittard of Chelsea, the London merchant founded in 1886, has its Lands Lane store, and the Food Hall of Kirkgate Market, where Teapot - Tea or Coffee has sold more than 100 numbered loose leaf teas by weight since it opened as a market stall in 2014. The price gap is wide: an everyday English Breakfast is £3.95 for 50 g at Teapot, £6.00 for 50 g at Bird & Blend and £10.95 for 100 g at Whittard. Prices below are in pounds with VAT included.
