   The longest-established tea shop in Auckland: the Mt Eden Village shop at 442 Mt Eden Rd has sold tea since 1995 and became Chapter in 2005, when books, mostly romance, joined the shelves. Around 300 teas are weighed to order, from 50 or 100 g, drawn from Metropolitan, Harney & Sons, Tea Total, T Leaf T and Zealong among others: English Breakfast NZ$ 16 the 100 g, Earl Grey Superior NZ$ 17.50, China Jasmine NZ$ 17, a Formosa oolong NZ$ 18.50, Darjeeling Margaret's Hope NZ$ 22, Bai Mu Tan NZ$ 25, and by the 50 g an organic Wuyi rock oolong at NZ$ 27 and a Japanese gyokuro at NZ$ 25.    A New Zealand tea blender since 1995, owned since 2018 by Shelley Magee and run as a family business from a warehouse on the North Shore, with a concept store at 19F Triton Drive in Rosedale where the 150-plus teas can be smelled before buying and tastings of twenty teas are held for NZ$ 35.    Tea and coffee purveyors since May 2000, first to Auckland's cafés and tea rooms and now through four café-and-retail shops: 378 Dominion Rd in Mt Eden, Greenwoods Corner in Epsom, Cook Street in Howick Village and Amera Place in Botany Downs.    A private Chinese tea studio at 369 Mt Albert Road in Mount Roskill, where tea sommelier Yue sources single-origin leaf directly from the mountains of China and sessions are booked in advance: NZ$ 20 per person per hour, or NZ$ 58 for a private room with tea and pastries in the first hour. The online shop carries only Chinese teas, in 50 g: a Keemun Golden Needle, a Huangshan Maofeng and a Phoenix dancong Mi Lan Xiang at NZ$ 45, a Huoshan yellow tea at NZ$ 35, Taiping Houkui at NZ$ 68 the 125 g and an Anhua dark tea sold in 10 g packs at NZ$ 10.
