Our favorite tea shops in Columbus
2 places we'd send a friend to, with prices we checked ourselves.
Columbus lost both of its best-known tea salons in the last few years, and what is left is two very different counters. One is a spice stall inside the North Market downtown that sells herbs and a smoked black tea loose by weight, starting at a quarter of an ounce; the other is a reservation-only tearoom in Franklinton with a small boutique attached. Neither stocks oolong today, so the oolong rows on our tea pages come from elsewhere in the country.

A tea room pouring more than forty teas, but it sells seatings rather than packets and has no online catalogue, so there is no price per size we could read and publish.
