Barcelona has two very different ways of buying leaf, both in the old city and ten minutes apart on foot. In El Call, a teahouse imports single lots in 6 to 100 g portions and numbers each one; in El Born, a 1978 house sells the classics by the 100 g and up to the kilo. Between them you can go from a 6 g taste of Wuyi rock tea to a kilo of everyday Assam.
