Palma buys its loose leaf in the old town, within a ten-minute walk: an independent, Japan-leaning tea shop in an eighteenth-century building on Carrer de les Monges that sells fixed 100 g packs and several grades of matcha, and the Spanish chain Tea Shop with a store on Carrer de Sant Nicolau and a second one in the Porto Pi shopping centre by the port. Two more tea houses, on Carrer d'Aragonès and Costa de Can Muntaner, sell at the counter. Prices on this page run from 7,00 € for 100 g of rooibos to 50 € for a 30 g tin of ceremonial matcha; every shop found closes on Sunday.

Alongside the tea there is Japanese incense, ceramics and matcha tools, and the shop hosts matcha workshops, a cold-tea lab, ceramics sessions and exhibitions. In-store pickup; shipping to mainland Spain and the Balearics is 5 € and free from 70 €.
