Minneapolis keeps its loose leaf in the same few blocks south-west of downtown: two counters within a ten-minute walk of each other in Uptown and Lowry Hill East. Both sell in 1 oz portions, so a single tea costs a few dollars and a whole shelf can be tried for the price of one tin elsewhere. A third shop, TeaSource, sits just north-east in St. Anthony Village and ships nationwide.
