Panama City buys its loose leaf from three very different counters: a tea sommelier's brand with kiosks in Multiplaza and Altaplaza and a shop in Casco Antiguo, selling more than a hundred teas by the 50 g; a two-floor Chinese tea house on Vía Argentina, open since 2023, that sells its Tie Guan Yin and Longjing by the half pound; and a family tea brand with its counter inside a wellness shop in Obarrio. Prices are in US dollars, from US$ 6.50 for 20 g of lavender to US$ 65 for half a pound of premium Longjing, with most 50 g bags of black, green and oolong between US$ 8 and US$ 12.
