Victoria is where Murchie's began in 1894, and its Government Street shop with a café is still the city's big tea counter, with more than 130 teas sold from 2 oz. Two blocks north, in Chinatown, Silk Road Tea has sold organic teas by the tin since 1992 and runs a spa in the same building, and around the corner on Pandora Avenue, Just Matcha sells nothing but Japanese matcha. Prices are in Canadian dollars.
